City & Financial comprises two divisions: conferences and publishing.

The Conference Division runs around sixty high level conferences each year. Research is undertaken by our exceptionally well-qualified team of producers, all of whom have research degrees in relevant disciplines. The conferences cover a variety of topics and are held throughout the world.

C&F Conferences have four distinguishing features. First, they are often held under joint ventures with governments and government agencies. Second, our speakers are always of the highest calibre, and include heads of government, senior government ministers, policy makers, regulators and chief executives and main board directors of some of the world's leading companies, as well as experts from top advisory firms. Third, our events focus on the impact of key change drivers such as government policy, regulation, product innovation, technology, supply and demand side factors and specific developments in different markets. Fourth, we aim to produce the most authoritative conference on any given topic. As a result, our events attract large audiences comprising senior decision-makers from both the public and private sectors, as well as sponsorship from some of the world's leading companies and financial institutions.

The Publishing Division publishes a range of guides to law and regulation, focusing principally on financial regulation, corporate finance, public private partnerships and other related business sectors. The C&F Publishing philosophy is to add value by providing practical insight into the implications of law and regulation, rather than merely reciting the rules themselves. This is achieved by having each publication written by a team of leading practitioners, who collectively bring to bear many years' experience on the topic in question. Although its origins are in book publishing, the division also publishes a number of subscription-based periodicals.

Many of our publications have become the definitive works in their respective areas. A Practitioner's Guide to the FSA Listing Rules and A Practitioner's Guide to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers continue to be the industry standard texts, while A Practitioner's Guide to the FSA Handbook is regarded as an unrivalled resource for understanding the application of the Financial Services Authority's rules.
