This conference will be conducted in Greek and English with full simultaneous translation.
The Greek Government's Public Private Partnership (PPP) programme has an increasingly important role in the Government's strategy to enhance the country's economic and social infrastructure. Against a backdrop of turmoil in the global financial markets and the associated economic downturn that has spread across the world, PPPs are likely to be an even more important tool for achieving higher growth and boosting efficiency in public sector projects, as well as attracting much needed foreign direct investment.
There is an increasing demand for international partnerships, and Greece, as a regional hub for PPPs in the Balkan, Black Sea, South-East Europe and the Mediterranean regions, offers an ideal place for promoting PPPs, which can help find new ways to decrease the impact of the current financial crisis and to provide more and better services to citizens.
Following the conclusion of the first PPP project in Greece, City & Financial is organising its Second Annual Greek PPP Market Forum under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance. The forum will provide an update on the current Greek PPP market and offer an excellent networking opportunity for both foreign and Greek companies.
Attendance at this topical forum will be invaluable for all construction firms, facility management companies, financial institutions, law firms and other PPP specialists for whom understanding the markets' recent developments and building new partnerships is essential.
